Latest deals in shipbuilding take craft rate to around £10
The year’s bargaining round in shipbuilding, which involves over 11,000 employees in the UK’s six main shipyards, took place against the backdrop of increased orders from the Ministry of Defence. Most settlements in this sector are long-term deals spanning two years.
