Average Weekly Earnings
In the three months to November 2011, average earnings for the whole economy rose by 1.9 per cent on the previous year, down 0.2 percentage points from the revised growth figure for the three months to October.

In the private sector, average earnings rose by 2.0 per cent on the previous year in the three months to November, down from 2.1 per cent in October.

In the public sector (excluding financial services), average earnings in the three months to November increased by 1.4 per cent on the previous year, down from 1.7 per cent in the three months to September.
