ECR surveys facilities managers’ pay and benefits

For over a decade we have been conducting our own annual survey of the pay and responsibilities of the most senior in-house facilities managers and their immediate deputies. Our latest results are based on returns from 24 public and private sector organisations contacted during the two months to January 2008.

Salary awards for senior in-house facilities managers suggest that the level of salary rises for top facilities managers has remained unchanged over the last year perhaps maintaining their current pace in response to persistently high inflation rates. Detailed analysis of how much our surveyed senior facilities managers were paid are shown in tables which list the salaries received in each of the participating organisations, as well as by named company. To help employers benchmark their salaries more closely, we also collected details about the facilities managers’ duties and responsibilities, as well as information on bonuses and benefits.
