ECR surveys facilities managers’ pay and benefits

Buildings need to be maintained and services provided if organisations are to run smoothly. Facilities managers are central to this, but there are few available pay sources for employers wishing to benchmark their jobs. For this reason, we have been conducting our own survey of the salaries and benefits of senior facilities managers and their deputies since 1997.

This year’s findings are based on information received from 24 private and public sector employers which gave us salary and benefits data for the most senior facilities managers over the period running from November 2006 to January 2007. Included in the article are tables showing average and median salary levels for facilities managers and their deputies as well as detailed tables showing salary review data and duties and responsibilities
